The Startup 20/20 program is a weekend venture acceleration and hands-on entrepreneurial skills enhancement platform for budding entrepreneurs. Its like a small practice match that you play before you play the big startup game. No matter how good a player, net practice always helps. This program has been designed to serve as that net-practice platform. It is designed for both experienced startup teams and those new to the field. For experienced entrepreneurial teams, they can work out a new idea over the weekend and take that fresh experience and energy back to their existing startup, they can even find new talent to scale up and or collaborate on their existing ideas. Those starting up new get good idea of what it takes to launch a startup.

The weekend format of two and a half days is designed to get good team bonding and give time to participants to mix well and know each other well. The event is divided into 2 and a half days which includes idea generation session, business model canvas sessions and continuous mentoring sessions.

These sessions allow the participating teams to take their idea from a conceptual stage to a stage where they have a business plan, preliminary marketing plan and a greater understanding of their customers and value propositions. Teams are also required to build a prototype of their idea. Thus by the end of the program, the team has greater understanding of various phases of launching a startup. Teams who are more experienced can do a test run of their new ideas.

The final judging session is allows the teams to see how well they have done over the weekend and how well were they prepared for the various questions that the judges had in their mind.
